Ingres is hosting The Open Source Masters, the first annual golf tournament to be held on the south course at Golfpark Idstein on September 18, 2009. The course is 30 minutes north of Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. Sponsors and participants are now invited to sign up and be part of this exciting event. Depending on your level of sponsorship, you may have between 2-4 players included in your sponsorship. Players will be IT professionals of all skill levels, and pared into foursomes in this scramble, best-ball format with shotgun start.

Multiple contests are included on many of the holes with awards being presented after the day of play at the reception following the tournament. You may even win € 1,000 in a hole-in-one contest, along with many other prizes. The award winning on-site restaurant will provide morning coffee and pastries, a pre-tournament BBQ lunch, beverage carts, and the reception. Snacks and drinks are even provided at two holes (#6 and #15).

The course golf pros will be available at the driving range to give tips and free advise. There is also an extensive chipping and putting course for practice and non-golfers to enjoy.

Ingres will be sponsoring a Charity by donating 100% of funds received from the evening’s silent auction.
